Menu Manager

Simplify the WordPress sidebar by hiding agency-only screens from client roles.

What to hide

The Menu Manager helps remove advanced or agency-only screens from client view while leaving administrator access untouched.

  • Hide plugin, theme, tools, and settings areas from non-admin clients.
  • Keep Posts, Pages, Media, Products, or Forms visible when clients need them.
  • Avoid hiding content areas that are part of the client’s weekly workflow.

Testing menu rules

Menu changes should always be tested with the exact role your client uses.

  • Save the menu configuration.
  • Open a private browser session as the test client user.
  • Check direct access to important editing screens, not just the sidebar menu.

Maintenance notes

Plugin updates can add new menu items. Make menu review part of your normal maintenance checklist.

  • Review menus after installing or replacing plugins.
  • Export your settings after significant changes.
  • Keep a short list of client-approved admin screens.
